Remove the Factory Cap.

Speed limiter software for commercial vans and pickups

Commercial vans and pickups are often factory-limited to 56 mph, 62 mph or 70 mph regardless of their mechanical capability. Our speed limiter removal service recalibrates the ECU software to remove these artificial caps, ideal for off-road, export, agricultural and specialist applications where UK road speed limits do not apply.

What Is Van Speed Limiter Removal?

Factory speed limiters are programmed into the Engine Control Unit (ECU) at manufacture to comply with commercial vehicle regulations and fleet insurance requirements. Using professional Alientech and Autotuner equipment, we modify the ECU calibration to remove or raise the programmed speed cap while preserving all other engine safety parameters.

This is a software-only procedure. No hardware changes are required, and your original factory ECU map is backed up before any work begins, allowing full reversion to stock settings at any time.
